In 2005, the two emblematic figure of Hungarian Roma music, Ágnes Künstler and Josef Balog, the Roma and Balkan country's best musicians on their side, formed the band EtnoRom. They were intended for a wide range of Roma folklore presentation, but for now the band performed more than that: over the transmission of authentic Roma music, it is the treasures of other countries's Roma music, as well as combining individual elements, developed in its category with a unique style of Roma world music. All this - the virtuoso interpretation EtnoRom members - have now matured special repertoire, which in the traditional Hungarian gypsy Balkan, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Transylvanian, Turkish, Serbian numbers have been added.
From all this an album was made in 2006: Romanyi Luma, Gipsy World, which was issued by Fonó.
Featured Fringe in 2007, was awarded the band, and as a dowry in 2008, performed at the Budapest Spring Festival, a very successfully.
In 2009, from hundreds of bands was selected EtnoRom to represent Hungary on a Music Festival in Berlin, and they had a gorgious concert is Pfeffeberg too.
In 2009, again became the winner of Fringe Festival EtnoRom band, and they was requested for a special concert at Thalia Theater.
In 2010, again teamed up with a new, more even fresher, more original EtnoRom promising album, titled Diri, Diri. The album was released in 2011, the release of Gryllus.
EtnoRom represented their music many times in many places live on stage: they have traveled to every corner of Hungary, and as guests were invited to the biggest festivals, in addition, visited several European countries - Italy, Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Estonia, Spain, Norway, France, Belgium and Ukraine - and they had everywhere undivided success.
